Finally moving out of your parent’s home? Getting your first apartment is a nerve-wracking and yet thrilling affair. You have tons to do and yet so little time. It’s easy to forget some of the stuff you need to buy or get done. Below, we go over some of the must haves for new apartment.

It’s easy to treat artwork as an afterthought when moving into a new apartment. To the contrary it is a central part of a home’s décor and can transform a dull room into a vibrant and peaceful one. Your new apartment deserves a few pieces of art. You don’t even have to spend a ton of money to find something that works for your space.

A rug not only makes your space more cozy and complete, it also helps cover up unsightly floors that you may not be able to change in a rental. Get one with a flattering pattern that feels soft underfoot.

Should you go for the flanged mop with pads, make sure to stick to the washable one rather than disposable.
